Journalists have described her art, which spans four decades, as ethno-visionary, dynamic, and breathtaking. Calley finds her expression primarily through classical glaze painting, mixed media works, ecological art, collaboration with Rama the elephant, public murals, and stained glass. Writers have described her as ‘a way-finder’, ‘wise woman’, ‘a healing force’ and ‘a force of nature.’ A thoroughly skillful design consultant and design team facilitator, Calley sparks innovative thinking and leading edge design solutions, for the purpose of bridging the gap between economics and ecological sustainability, beauty and efficiency.
